Windsor, ON  –  A rift has occurred in a local Facebook conspiracy theory group with one side labeling the COVID-19 pandemic a ‘Plandemic’ and the other side preferring to call it a ‘Scamdemic’.  “It is clearly a Scamdemic” said Graham Jones the group’s Facebook administrator on a Zoom chat on Tuesday morning.

Mr. Jones explained further “It is a scam. Anyone with a half-a-brain can see this.   It is all about money.   The pharmaceutical industry is the major player behind this.  They want to sell a vaccine.   And don’t forget the toilet paper companies.   Are you telling me that the Charmin corporation didn’t have something to gain by assisting in the creation of all of this?”

In a contrasting opinion George Peterson weighed in on behalf of the Plandemic name “You have to call it a Plandemic.  It was a plan to keep Trump from getting re-elected or it was plan to put tracking devices in all of us or it was a plan to launch a new biological weapon.  I’m not sure exactly which plan it is but it was definitely planned.  Now that I think about it maybe it was Graham.  He told me he got a flu shot last year. I hear flu shot and I think deep-state conspirator.”

Mr. Peterson was clear about his position when asked if either group could reach a consensus on what to call the pandemic “No way!  Graham and his group can pile in a car and drive off the edge of the flat earth for all I care.”
