Windsor man plans to launch pandemic dating website

Windsor, ON – The COVID-19 pandemic has provided a local man with an idea that he thinks will be the next great dating website. Michael Borden, age 44 of Windsor, announced his plans to gathered media on Saturday “The first of it’s kind, a dating website for people who are serious about social distancing!”

Mr. Borden has not yet decided on a name for his new venture “I’m playing around with a few ideas. We could maybe call it Covi-Date or Quaran-Date. I’m not sure just yet but what I do know is there are probably a lot of people out there who want to date but can’t leave their house”.

When asked how he came up with the idea the budding internet entrepreneur explained “It just sort of hit me that I look really good in a mask and I took a profile picture with my mask on and it was banned from E-Harmony, Plenty of Fish and Christian Mingle so it occurred to me to start a pandemic dating website where everyone wears a mask. I think this is going to be a big hit with people who are socially conscious and are concerned about the health and welfare of others. I think it was also be really great for ugly people”.
