Windsor family planning to attend Stanley Cup Parade in Toronto next June

Windsor, ON – Long-time Toronto Maple Leafs fans the Anderson family of Windsor announced this week that they were changing their family vacation plans for 2017 and will be attending the Maple Leafs Stanley Cup parade in downtown Toronto.

Sam Anderson, his wife, son and daughter decided to forego their planned excursion to Disney World and will instead go to Toronto next May and camp out on Yonge Street to get the best view of the parade they are expecting in June 2017.   “Auston Mathews four goals on the opening night of season convinced us that this is the year” said Mr. Anderson when describing the decision making process for the family vacation.

“Yeah, I know they lost the game but I know this is the year” Anderson went on to say while staring at newly built shrine to Auston Mathews in his living room.   “I was actually hoping that the Leafs might let Auston visit Windsor this December to attend the FINA Swimming Championships as I would like to prove to my co-workers that he can skate on water” said Anderson of the newest Leafs saviour.
