Windsor, ON – Jacob Daxner, age 63, of Windsor recently decided to return a sweater purchased at Sears a few years ago but reports experiencing difficulty when attending the location at Devonshire Mall earlier this month.
Mr. Daxner explained his dilemma this weekend when he went back to the store a second time “I stopped by a few weeks ago and discovered the store appeared to be closed for renovations. I’ve had this sweater in a drawer for awhile now. It still has the price-tags on it so I thought I’d take it back and maybe get something else. The sweater is kind of ugly and with the fall weather coming in I thought why not get something more stylish.”
The long-time Sears-Club Member continued “I went back on Saturday afternoon and the renovations are still going on. They must be really doing something special because they’ve even taken the Sears sign down. I’m kind of excited to see what it looks like when they re-open. And of course I want to return the sweater. I can’t find the receipt so I hope I won’t have any trouble when I take it back.”
