Windsor, ON – Celebrating a 100th birthday is something few people will get to experience but Mildred Daniels is one of them. Mildred’s one hundredth birthday party occurred last weekend with family and friends gathered to join in the festivities. When asked the secret to being 100 years old Mildred replied “A lot of anger and a drive to seek vengeance of people who have wronged me”.
Mrs. Daniels elaborated on her anger-philosophy to staying healthy “It started when I was in my sixties and I made up an enemies list and I vowed to out-live them all and here I am today. I’m happy, healthy and still crossing names off my list”.
When asked what she plans to do on her 101st birthday Mildred was quick to reply “I’ll be right here hoping that Ethel Peters has dropped dead. I’ve hated her since the third grade when she stole my chocolate chip cookies from my lunch-box during morning recess. I remember it like it was yesterday. I am so looking forward to crossing her name off of my list”.
