City Council election campaign revealed as a way to meet women

Windsor, ON – Peter Brock, age 38, of Windsor announced his intention run for a position on city council last week in Windsor’s 11th ward but admitted this week he was just running for political office to meet women.

“I’ve been on E-Harmony, Match, Plenty of Fish, hell, I’ve even tried Christian Mingle and I can’t meet anyone” Brock said during a recent campaign speech adding “So I thought this would be an easier way for me to get my name and picture out to single ladies in the Windsor area.  Single ladies 25 to 55 please vote for me and don’t forget to include your phone number on your ballot”.

When reviewing his campaign platform to gathered media Mr. Brock commented “To be clear I don’t care about taxes, infrastructure or the economy.  I care about women who like long walks, romantic comedies and puppies.  Truth be told I don’t like dogs that much and really hate romantic comedies but I’ve always written that in my dating profiles so I thought it should be part of my campaign platform too”.

When asked what his next steps would be on the campaign trail the aspiring politician said he would be meeting with his team over the weekend to plan electoral strategies and also to update his profile on OK Cupid.
