Avid Windsor Star reader and regular Windsor Star website visitor, Odell Lesperance, has managed to post a comment on at least one Windsor Star story for 400 straight days. “I really enjoy it” said Lesperance adding “since they added Facebook comments it is really easy to get my opinions out there”.

Lesperance states his strategy for commenting is simple “I glance at the articles and if I don’t understand the story or don’t have an actual opinion I just say something like ‘this is all Eddie Francis fault’ or ‘the unions are to blame for this’ or my default ‘this is what my taxes are used for?’ it all depends on my mood really”. Lesperance doesn’t think his lack of knowledge on a subject is a barrier to posting an opinion “I was told in 4th grade my reading comprehension was bad but thanks to social media and the internet that doesn’t matter any more!”

Lesperance posts a comment every day even Sundays and hopes to one day get his comment-posting streak recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.
