{"id":704,"date":"2017-04-05T16:21:38","date_gmt":"2017-04-05T16:21:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whatsupwindsor.com\/?p=704"},"modified":"2017-04-05T16:21:38","modified_gmt":"2017-04-05T16:21:38","slug":"man-already-camping-out-for-fireworks-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/whatsupwindsor.com\/?p=704","title":{"rendered":"Man already camping out for fireworks night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/whatsupwindsor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/3183573picpic-256x300-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-709\" src=\"http:\/\/whatsupwindsor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/3183573picpic-256x300-1-256x300.jpg\" alt=\"3183573picpic-256x300\" width=\"256\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Windsor, ON \u2013 Kevin Connolly, aged 42, of Windsor has already selected his spot for this year\u2019s annual fireworks display over the Detroit River. \u201cEvery year I go to the fireworks and every year I think I could have gotten a little closer to the action so I decided this was going to be the year that I would get the best possible spot\u201d Connolly said as he set-up his tent on the riverfront on Wednesday.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve taken a three-month leave of absence from my job and my wife and kids are going to visit regularly so I think I\u2019ve got all my bases covered until the big night\u201d Connolly advised while reminiscing about past fireworks nights \u201cI usually set-up the day before or two days before but I was never quite happy with my spot.
