Witnesses said the couch had actually been sitting outside since the weekend but it wasn\u2019t until it was overturned that nearby residents realized that the couch was dead.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s heartbreaking\u201d said a Reclining Chair, who did not want to give his name, from a nearby apartment building \u201cThe Couch and I have been in the same living room set for over ten years and he just disappeared last Saturday morning and now this.\u00a0\u00a0 You hear about things like this but you never think it will happen to furniture you know.\u00a0\u00a0 I haven\u2019t let the Coffee Table out of my sight since this happened\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A Floor Lamp added \u201cYou could always count on the Couch.\u00a0\u00a0 He was the focal point of our lives.\u00a0 He never bothered anyone, kept to himself but if you ever needed to stretch out and watch television he was there for you\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The investigation continues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Windsor, ON \u2013 The\u00a0remains of\u00a0a couch were discovered on Windsor\u2019s east side on Tuesday afternoon.
