Windsor, ON – Robert Manning, age 34, of Windsor, Ontario was surprised to learn this week that he is not a doctor. “I couldn’t believe it really. I’ve been dispensing medical advice on Facebook for the last eight months and just assumed I was qualified” Mr. Manning said to gathered media on Friday.
He explained further “When the pandemic started I watched a lot of You Tube videos and read as many Facebook posts as I possibly could about COVID-19. I really educated myself. So in early April I felt I was ready to dispense medical advice on social media. You can imagine how shocked I was to find out this past week that you need two university degrees and at least seven years in school to become a doctor.”
When asked if he will stop giving out medical advice on social media Mr. Manning replied “I suppose I should probably stop but I don’t know what I will do with my free time. I may stop posting about the pandemic and just post about things I am qualified to speak about. Like how the earth is flat and that alien shape-shifters have infiltrated the government.”
