Sign-maker sees loss of business during 2017

Windsor, ON – Local sign-maker, Peter Yates, of Windsor has seen a dramatic decrease in sales this year with his signature product the No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service sign. “It seems nobody wants them anymore.   There was a time when every bar, restaurant and convenience store in Windsor had one of my signs” Yates said on Thursday.

“I don’t know what has happened.   Maybe people in Windsor have just started wearing shirts and shoes when they go out to a restaurant?  Maybe it’s the weather?  Might be too cold more often than not to not wear and a shirt and shoes?” the sign-maker speculated.

When asked about a new product to replace the fading sales of his previous best-seller Mr. Yates said “I’m not sure what the future holds. I’ve seen a lot of geese along Riverside Drive this year.  Maybe I can market a Goose-Crossing sign to the city?”
